ARE UNEVEN BREAST ACTUALLY COMMON?

This is a very common concern among female adolescents-even adult women! But it is quite common for each breast to be slightly different in size, which is a condition called Asymmetry.

Breast Asymmetry is defined as a difference of form, position or volume of the breast, and it affects more than half of all women.

It’s common for two breasts to be of different sizes, but they’re usually similar in density and structure. If you have asymmetrical breasts, you’re not alone—this is incredibly common. It is actually more common for women to have different breast shape and size than absolutely symmetrical breasts.

Some women have a one or two cup size difference between both breasts. If you have always had breasts which are not perfectly identical, it doesn’t mean something is wrong with you—it’s simply the way they are.

If the size difference between your breasts is more intense, you can wear an extra-supportive bra or put a special insert in your bra (on the side where the breast is smaller). This will make your breasts look more equal in size.

We at Intimately Mine have bras to fit uneven breasts coupled with ideas ideas to even things out.

Don’t be embarrassed — be rest assured, we have helped others with the same concern!

Generally, slight differences in a woman’s breasts are of no concern.

According to Deborah Weatherspoon, a medical adviser and nursing educationist pointed out that if there is a large variation in asymmetry or if your breast density suddenly changes, it could be an indication of cancer. Hence, if this is observed, we suggest that you see your medical practitioner.
